Dean Reeves
Chief Executive Officer / Owner
Dean Reeves is an Atlanta native and the eldest son of company founder Bill Reeves. Dean grew up in the Brookhaven area and graduated with a degree in Business Management from Georgia Tech in 1973, where he also played college basketball.
Upon graduating from Georgia Tech, Dean joined Reeves Contracting as an estimator. He learned the business quickly, and expanded his responsibility and knowledge of the business. Eventually, Dean took over the company from his father, and has grown it to be the leader in the industry that it is today.
In 1992, Dean was a Founder of Gwinnett National Bank and served as Chairman of its Loan Committee. He also was instrumental in forming the North Gwinnett Education Foundation, and served as an assistant Varsity basketball coach for two years at North Gwinnett High School.
Today, Dean and his wife Patti are members of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, where Dean volunteers as a Money Wise Mentor. They also volunteer as drivers for the American Cancer Society Road to Recovery Program, taking patients for their cancer treatments. He has two children: Sarah, who graduated from Auburn University; and William, who graduated from Clemson University and is now the third generation to work for the family business.
