FIELD STAFF
Vernon Smith
General Superintendent/Licensed Utility Superintendent
Vernon Smith is a top field superintendent whose construction experience expands more than 30 years, 26 of those with Reeves. As a project superintendent, he has direct responsibility from the planning stages to completion for a wide variety of commercial site work development construction projects. He works closely with the owner and architectural and engineering firms to maintain project team relationships and produce a successful, high quality product.
Vernon’s responsibilities include: participation in the estimating and bid preparation; field supervision; costs; quality; schedule controls; coordination of field forces, subcontractors & material suppliers. Vernon has handled many of Atlanta’s most complicated and difficult sewer projects. He is an able communicator and throughout preconstruction provides valuable guidance on the constructability and project sequencing. On the jobsite, he is responsible for all field forces and construction to assure the project goals and deadlines are met. He has extensive knowledge and experience in safety and quality control.
Doug Parsons
Superintendent/Licensed Utility Superintendent
Doug Parsons has over 30 years of construction-related experience involving heavy earthwork, sewer, drainage, highway concrete construction, shoring, rigging, box culverts, bridge work, deep pipe installations, bypass pumping and well points systems. He has knowledge of all piping materials and the installation of commercial and residential storm and sewer systems.
Doug's experience in the construction management field includes general superintendent, scheduling, equipment and personnel coordination, tracking project costs, safety management, working with the Army Corp of Engineers, civil and geotechnical engineering, and state and local agencies onsite-specific construction obstacles pertaining to ductile iron pipe installation to 54”, RCP to 72” and CMP to 126” diameter, detention structures, creek crossings, tunnels, and jack and bores.
Tim Clark
Superintendent
Tim Clark began working with Reeves Contracting Company in 1996 and has over 11 years of on-site experience in general contracting installation and 6 years in supervision. Tim is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects through the overall management of all field forces and jobsite coordination and communication.
During the preconstruction phase, Tim works with the project team to provide guidance on the constructability of systems and input on scheduling and efficiency. Tim’s expertise in the field management of construction projects is a tremendous asset to any Reeves project team.
Michael McGregor
Superintendent
Michael McGregor is an experienced and aggressive superintendent who oversees projects throughout the Southeast. With more than 20 years in the industry, Michael is a team player who has proven his ability to successfully manage complex projects with extremely tight schedules. As superintendent, Michael is responsible for overseeing all field operations, including subcontractor and field coordination, quality control, safety and schedule for all projects. He will provide input throughout the process on the constructability systems and will participate in coordination meetings with subcontractors and suppliers, Michael has an outstanding record for on-time delivery or quality projects, and an asset to any project team.
Paul Warren
Superintendent/Licensed Utility Superintendent
Paul Warren will be your Project Superintendent. He will be in charge of all the daily site operations for your project. With more than 21 years of on-site experience, Paul is responsible for coordinating and managing all subcontractor activities while adhering to the project schedule. Paul will be responsible for managing and enforcing quality control throughout the construction process. Most importantly, Paul will be in charge of site safety. He will work closely with our safety director to develop and implement a site specific safety program for the project.
Derick Burrell
Superintendent
With more than 20 years of extensive experience in pipeline installation, grading and turnkey sitework, Derick is responsible for coordinating and managing all subcontractor activities while adhering to the project schedule. Derick manages and enforces quality control throughout the construction process. Most importantly, Derick is in charge of site safety. He works closely with our safety director to develop and implement a site specific safety program for the project.
Michael Ladd
Foreman
Michael Ladd is responsible for ensuring the success of projects through the overall management of all field forces and jobsite coordination and communication. Michael will use this experience to help the project team develop efficient scheduling and value engineering strategies. He will provide input throughout the process on the constructability of systems and will participate in coordination meetings with subcontractors and suppliers. Michael has an outstanding record for on-time delivery of quality projects, and is an asset to any project team.
